Terms of purchase

By placing an order through Etsy or agreeing to a custom commission, you confirm that you are at least 19 years old and that your purchase and use of the product comply with the laws where you live.

Each piece is handmade. Small differences in colour, texture, shape, hardware, and finish are part of the process and do not mean the item is defective. Custom work begins only after the concept, price, timeline, and payment terms are confirmed in writing.

Product listings, prices, stock, production timelines, shipping options, and return eligibility are shown at checkout or confirmed in your commission agreement. Etsy processes marketplace orders and may apply its own terms, payment rules, and buyer protections.

Do not modify, misuse, or expose a piece to heat or other conditions it was not designed to handle. Gummybearlighters is not responsible for damage caused by misuse, neglect, unauthorized modifications, normal wear, or failure to follow product and manufacturer guidance.

Orders, shipping & returns

For Etsy orders, the listing and Etsy’s current policies control shipping, cancellations, returns, and refunds. For commissions, those details are agreed before production begins. Contact contact@gummybearlighter.ca as soon as possible if an order arrives damaged or something is not right, with your order details and photos.

Privacy notice

When you email Gummybearlighters, we use the information you provide to answer your message, discuss a custom order, fulfill an order, and provide support. We do not sell or rent your personal information. We also use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use this website; see the cookie notice below for details.

Orders placed through Etsy are also subject to Etsy’s privacy notice and data practices. We may retain relevant correspondence and order details for business records, tax, fraud prevention, dispute handling, and customer support, and keep them only as long as reasonably necessary.

To ask about personal information associated with a customer conversation, email contact@gummybearlighter.ca. We may need to verify your identity before responding.

Cookie notice

This website uses Google Analytics, which sets cookies to help us understand how visitors use the site, such as which pages are viewed and general traffic patterns. This information is processed by Google under its own privacy policy. Google Fonts, Etsy, Instagram, and other linked services may also receive technical information when you visit or use them and have their own policies. Your browser may also store ordinary local preferences.

For customers 19+. These are accessories and art pieces, not toys. Keep small charms away from children and pets. Use products only as intended, keep them away from unsafe heat, and follow local laws and manufacturer safety guidance.
